FBV News

Greetings, everyone!

I just wanted to share a link for the photo galleries page of our website where you will find a "January '08" and a "February '08" updated album of photos from the finca. Click here: www.fincabellavista.net?>www.fincabellavista.net/gallery1.htm">http:// href="http://www.fincabellavista.net/">www.fincabellavista.net/gallery1.htm for all the details. The past couple of months have yielded a great deal of progress down here and we thought you may want to have a look at what's been going on. You can also check out our "Press" page for some of the great press we've been getting lately.

From zip lines, platforms and tree houses, to high-speed satellite wi-fi and running water at the base area, life at the finca has been on the up and up! I hope you all enjoy the albums!

Please forward the message along to anyone you think might be interested in life at the finca, as things are certainly moving along quickly. I hope all is well with all of you, and we look forward to hearing from you soon!

Greetings, everyone out there in cyber space!

I am very excited to report some news of the recent progress at the finca... Yesterday I received emails from both our general manager, Owen Hyams, and associate Dave Carbonetti SENT TO ME FROM THE FBV BASE AREA!! Yes, yesterday Dr. Dish finished the installation of our new satellite that will provide the FBV base area with a connection to the outside world. Whether it be phone, internet, television, music, or sporting events, we now have contact with the outside world!

Owen and the rest of the crew have also been hard at work with zip lines and platforms and there are already two routes in place... Several more should be completed in the coming few months. Additionally, there have been many more trails added around the property, and existing trails are being improved daily.

In other exciting news, the engineers from Inti Tech have been busy on site taking measurements for the location of the hydropower turbine, penstock feeder line, and hydroelectric grid and transformer layout.

I hope all is well with all of you out there in cyberspace, and we look forward to seeing you down at Finca Bellavista in the future!

My stepdaughter Issa Vasquez just told me about Finca Bellavista and I have been checking out the website. By the way, Issa graduated with you from Frederick High School! I have been looking at retiring in Boquete, Panama for some time. Now I am thinking about a retirement-vacation spot in Finca Bellavista! Sure looks intriguing.

Thanks for the recent comment, John! Please tell Issa I send my regards! As for having a vacation/retirement home here at Finca Bellavista, that is definitely part of the plan with many of the dozens of folks (aged 24 to 63) who have purchased lots here.

Whether it is the astounding beauty of the natural world surrounding us here at FBV, or the laid-back, carefree "tranquilo" lifestyle this region offers, folks have a tough time leaving FBV after a visit!

Please explore the rest of the website for a thorough view of life at Finca Bellavista, and we hope to show you (and Issa!) around on a visit sometime soon!
